The SIMPLIFY project was presented at the World Conference on Research Integrity in Vancouver, Canada, where project partners and leading international networks came together to discuss practical ways of strengthening research ethics and integrity frameworks. The event featured an interactive SIMPLIFY session with key stakeholders and an oral presentation introducing SIMPLIFY’s vision for a coordinated European platform for research ethics and integrity.
The discussions generated strong interest in the project and highlighted opportunities for international collaboration, including initiatives on research integrity training, combating paper mills, developing shared definitions of research integrity, and strengthening research governance worldwide. The conference also welcomed new members to the growing SIMPLIFY Community of Practice, reflecting the project’s increasing international engagement and collaborative momentum.
